Hitron Technologies Inc.(TWSE: 2419) – January 19, 2023 – Hitron (2419), a leading provider of broadband access network products and solutions, achieved historical high in December and the fourth quarter of 2022. April Huang, Chairwoman of Alpha Networks and Hitron Technologies, members of the Qisda Networking and Communications Group, stated that Hitron is undergoing transformation and promoting software and hardware integration services. Hitron’s growth is fueled in 2 directions; first through the launch of new products in North America and the later with expansion of new markets in Europe, Asia-Pacific and Latin America.
Hitron achieved 36% year-on-year growth in December 2022; the consolidated revenues in the fourth quarter of 2022 is NT$3.68 billion with a year-on-year growth of 56%, hitting record highs on both monthly and quarterly basis. Fiscal year consolidated revenues of 2022 are NT$12.3 billion with an annual growth rate of 27%. All regions grow in 2022.
Hitron is historically established in cable DOCSIS modem and router related product lines, and as part of its evolvement, Hitron is rapidly transforming towards customized solution services for service providers, setting herself apart from traditional broadband access device manufacturing with differentiation in product and services.
With the business synergy of the Qisda Networking and Communications Group, Hitron will combine resources with Alpha Networks to complement each other to deliver comprehensive home network management solutions through Hitron’s competencies in cable service providers’ customized solutions and Alpha Networks’ capabilities in the areas of wireless networking, fiber and 5G technologies. With leading market share in DOCSIS modems and gateways, Hitron is strategically positioned to expand her share of fiber (PON) and wireless networking devices. Moving forward, Hitron’s growth strategy is set out to achieve two objectives; primarily focusing on the balance of regional portfolios, and the enrichment of product portfolios.
Hitron’s main factory in the industry zone and port city of Haiphong, Vietnam is operating on track, and has contributed significantly to production efficiencies, including the improvement in supply chain which is boosted by the increase in ratio of local procurement resulting in better inventory control, as well as reduction in transportation and logistics costs, all of which strengthen the operations of the Vietnam factory.
In addition to this, Hitron’s subsidiary, Interactive Digital Technologies, has benefitted from the continuous acceleration of 5G infrastructure deployment in Taiwan domestically. Despite a less robust environment with challenging conditions in 2022 and many organizations reducing capital expenditures, Interactive Digital Technologies was not affected. Many large-scale projects have been awarded with new products and greenfield making some gains, allowing Interactive Digital Technologies to close the year with a 10% annual growth for 2022.
Looking forward into 2023, Hitron is optimistic about the year ahead as the Qisda Networking and Communications Group grand fleet strategy between Alpha Networks and Hitron Technologies will continue to synergize and prosper, through accelerating the alignment of product line enrichment and balance of regional share.
