Atlanta, GA (SCTE 2024 #641) – September 24, 2024 – Today, Hitron Technologies Americas announced that the NOVA2208 8-port Optical Network Terminal (ONT) solution is certified with Harmonic’s cOS PON OLT portfolio. Expanding on previous integrations with the Hitron NOVA portfolio, this model provides a turnkey solution to deliver XGS-PON or 10G-EPON service to small and medium businesses, offices, and multi-dwelling units (MDUs). The solution enables service delivery with less equipment, providing significant savings for broadband service providers and a resilient, robust, capable solution for end customers.

Live Demo at SCTE TechExpo 2024
A live demonstration in collaboration with Harmonic at the SCTE TechExpo will showcase the NOVA2208 multi-port functionality, 8 individually provisioned and separated Ethernet ports, voice, and innovative ability to auto-configure for either XGS-PON or 10G-EPON capability PON standard based on auto-detection of signals on the input fiber.
